We have been able to carry out a lot of planned maintenance throughout the winter months and now, with spring fast approaching, we are back focused on the playing surfaces with, as always, the greens and tees our priority.
Through March we will be tyning/scarifying and dressing the greens and tees more aggressively than in the past. This will result in 9 holes being closed from 27th February – 3rd March we will also be using temporary tees on selected holes throughout March.
The Clubhouse: The clubhouse had its most successful year with the new bar and sunshine terrace being well used by both golfers and visitors every day of the week. In anticipation of more sunshine, we will be using the decking currently covered by a marquee with new menus throughout the week. Our opening hours will change in March to 8am Monday – Friday and 7.30am Saturday & Sunday.
Competitions in 2023: We have lots of fun competitions planned this year starting on St Patrick’s Day with a brand-new midweek event, open to all, which includes a lunch of bangers & mash plus a Guinness! All our major events are advertised in the clubhouse and on the website but please make sure we have your correct mobile number for Jack’s competition texts.
Summer Membership: Our popular summer membership will be available as advertised below from the beginning of March. The prices are for 7 months and will be available until May so you can plan to play when you want.
